Updates

I've been keeping busy.  If you enjoyed The Overman (and I'm assuming you did, if you took the time to find this blog), then I hope you'll take a look at what I've been up to since then.  In February 2010, my first work at Marvel was published, SON OF HULK: CONQUEST OF JARELLA'S WORLD, a 4-issue mini-series written by me, with art by Miguel Munera.  If you missed it, you can find it collected as part of the REALM OF KINGS Hardcover book, which includes my story along with the main Realm of Kings story arc.  Currently, I'm writing INCREDIBLE HULKS: ENIGMA FORCE, a follow-up to the events of Conquest.  This 3-issue mini-series is out right now, and you might still be able to find the first and second issues at your local comic shop.  The third and final issue will hit next month.  More info at www.marvel.com

Over at my site, www.websbestcomics.com, I'm always updating it with news as it happens, as I'm wrapping up the Marvel projects and hunkering down to resume work on my large-scale graphic super hero novel project SOADU (Working Title) and, yes...a sequel to The Overman.

I have no clear plans what will happen with the sequel; I just know that it is a story that I feel needs a 2nd Act, which will hopefully serve to further expand the saga and delve even deeper into things which should be impossible to avoid, yet equally impossible to truly fathom.  I have several pre-production concept sketches in the works, and a very rough synopsis that I'm whipping into shape...and a bunch of ideas that are in an embryonic stage.  Mainly, I want to see how far I can take the idea of an Overman sequel, through my sketches and notes, and determine whether it could be a viable story that can not only surpass its predecessor, but can stand successfully on its own...
